====== Thank you for Volunteering! ======
Volunteers are the glue that holds our show nights together. Without you, our performers don't have the opportunity to focus on themselves and their teammates prior to the show, which is both stressful and detrimental to the performance.

====How to Volunteer====
You can volunteer for any CATCh shows at https://venvyapp.com/public/volunteer. We generally have 2-3 roles you can volunteer for:

  * [[Operations:Volunteers:Box Office]] — Sell and scan tickets
  * [[Operations:Volunteers:Concessions]] — Sell food & drinks, pour wine
  * [[Operations:Volunteers:Tech]] — Set up the pre-show lighting, music, and video. Assist the show with basic lighting cues. Ensure the show is being recorded.

**NOTE**: If you are unsure which role to volunteer for, feel free to select the "Any" option.

==If your plans change==
Please give us as much advance notice as possible if you can no longer volunteer. We understand that Life throws us all curveballs sometimes.

  * 2+ Days Out — Use the "Cancel your sign-up" link found in the confirmation email you received from Venvy. 
  * Less than that — Please let us know via an email or post to the [[Community:Discord]] ''#general'' channel.

====Volunteering Basics====

==Time Frame==
  * **Arrival** — Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the show start time, but no more than 60 minutes prior.
  * **Leaving** — Volunteers are encouraged to enjoy the show as much as possible.
    * Box Office Volunteers can depart around 15 minutes after the show //actually// starts, to ensure latecomers can get checked in.
    * Concessions Volunteers can depart after the intermission, once the [[Operations:Volunteers:money]] has been counted and put away.
    * Tech Volunteers usually stay for the entire show.

====Opening the Theater====

  * Turn on lights
  * Stock any drinks that are low in the fridge
  * Post to [[Community:Discord]] channel ''#volunteers'' if we are low on stock on any items
  * Ensure trash cans are ready
  * Get the money ready

====Closing the Theater====

  * Count money and put away
  * Re-stock low items
  * Empty trash (once show is over)
